My son cried and called, “Mama” when he tried to pee. Oh no! I suspect it’s a Urinary Tract Infection.  So, I brought him to the hospital for a check up. It was confirmed.

The result:
Pus cells : 2 – 3 / hpf
Red Blood cells : 0 – 3 / hpf

His urine has blood and pus cells. Immediately, the doctor told us to confine him in the hospital.  And so, we did. My son was inserted into the right hand with an IV. Then, through the IV, they gave him antibiotics and vitamins. The doctor told me that my son has Phimosis. Phimosis has caused his urinary tract infections. The doctor advised us for a circumcision. I told him he was only 2-years old, perhaps there is another way aside from circumcision.  There is, by giving him antibiotics but UTI will return.

My mumblings:
As a mother’s intuition, I know this will come because I always see him drinking soft drinks and juice in sachets. I wish I can stop it. But, some people he’s around with, sometimes, will give him that drink. Knowing my son, he will not sip it but instead drink it to the last drop. For example: a staff nurse gave him a cup of Coke soft drink, whom he thought will will only take a sip. But, he was surprised when my son, drank it all, breathlessly. I told him, he’s like that whenever we give him a drink (carbonated and juice in sachets). That’s why, we don’t give him an 8oz. But instead,  ¼ from his cup.

He used to drink a lot of water using his milk bottle. But, we change it in a cup with two handles on both sides. So, he can practice on how to drink like a big man.

What I learned:
I think I cannot prevent some people around him by giving my toddler soft drinks and juices. They meant no harm. Besides, his medical case is different from any toddler. The good side is we found out earlier the cause of the urinary tract infection.

Again, I’ll be changing the current theme and web page title of this blog whenever I have a chance. The page title “Earn Online with Mom” doesn’t apply to me, anymore. Don’t get me wrong! This blog will still be joining contests but in terms of a full time online earnings, I don’t have the time, anymore. Perhaps, when it comes to a chance of writing an article, I will. Besides, it’s not an everyday work online. Paid to click, I do once in a while or whenever I have the chance.

As of now, I am focusing with my son who had a circumcision. He needs me more than anything else. So, I won’t be able to search the internet for WordPress themes and web page title, right away. It’ll take so much time. But, I will write and post about the hardships, mistakes or the reality on being a mother. Also, I will share students given-assignments based on my research from the internet.

Do you have suggestions? Feel free to comment here. Thank you.

My hands are full these past weeks. It is full for being a mom ministering my son’s activities and sickness such as:

- Going out with the hospital staff’s yearly summer escapade.

- Caring my son who was hospitalized for U.T.I.

- Caring my son who underwent circumcision

I sat cross-legged on the floor writing using a paper and pen while watching my son asleep. I thought I can write a whole post when he’s sleeping but I was wrong. Whenever he wakes up, he cried from the pain. So, I have to stop and lay down again to calm him down.

The computer is around the corner. I am glad I had this little chance to tickle the computer keys. My son is fast asleep amid the noise, the customer creates in the internet shop.

My dearest, please bear with me, my posts are late this time.
